Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive title searches to verify property ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances.
- Analyze legal documents related to property transactions, including deeds, mortgages, and easements.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and analyzing property data.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings from title searches for clients and legal teams.
- Collaborate with law offices to ensure compliance with all legal requirements in title processing.
- Maintain accurate records of all research conducted and documents processed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues related to title searches.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of real estate law and title processing procedures.
- Familiarity with real estate transfers is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Previous experience working in a law office or related environment is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
