Role Description
The Litigation Associate will handle various aspects of litigation, including case research, drafting legal motions, managing depositions, and representing clients in court appearances. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham, MI. The role requires close collaboration with the legal team to deliver exceptional service to clients, along with the opportunity to engage in high-level legal practice within a business-focused law firm environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in foundational legal expertise, including Law and Court procedures
- Experience with drafting and filing Motions
- Strong Research and fact-finding skills
- Ability to conduct and manage Depositions effectively
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the State Bar of Michigan
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Trial experience or clerkship experience is a plus
