Litigation Associate – Birmingham, MI

Clark Hill PLC is seeking an attorney with 4-6 years of litigation experience for its Litigation business unit in the Birmingham, MI office. The position will mainly focus on national product liability defense throughout the United States. Products liability and personal injury experience is preferred but not required. All candidates must have the following experience: trial preparation experience, including file responsibility, motion practice (preferably including summary judgment and expert challenges), and deposition experience; strong research, writing, and negotiation skills. Successful candidates must be detail-oriented and able to assist in a significant portfolio of work for a high volume practice. Solid leadership and interpersonal skills are also required. Only candidates currently licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan or eligible for admission without examination will be considered. This position requires at least 3 days in office. Ability to travel preferred.

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $165,000 -$175,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
