A leading international law firm is seeking an Investment Funds Associate to join its growing Asset Management practice in Houston. Relocation candidates are encouraged to apply.
The team advises leading investment managers, private equity sponsors, credit funds and alternative asset managers on the formation, structuring and ongoing operation of private investment funds across a broad range of asset classes.
Associates can expect exposure to matters including:
- the formation and fundraising of private equity, private credit and hedge funds,
- sponsor-side structuring and fund formation matters,
- investor negotiations and side letter arrangements,
- co-investment, parallel fund and carried interest structures,
- regulatory and governance matters affecting investment managers, and
- ongoing operational and strategic advice throughout the fund lifecycle.
