Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Newport News, VA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and executing repairs on various systems and equipment. The position will involve responding to maintenance requests, diagnosing technical problems, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance to ensure operational reliability
- Competence in general Maintenance & Repair of equipment and facilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience in a government facilities maintenance setting is preferred
