HHP Inc is seeking a dedicated and hardworking 2nd Shift Lumber Stacker & Mill General Laborer to join our team at our Henniker, New Hampshire Sawmill Operation. Our facility, conveniently located just off RT. 202 & 89, includes a hardwood sawmill, pallet shop, and paper-quality chipping plant. Join us and be part of a team that values quality, safety, and teamwork.ResponsibilitiesStack lumber according to specific criteria, ensuring top, bottom, and outside boards are the longest.Ensure all edges are free of knots, wane, writing, and other defects.Build bundles that are square and finish with a neat top layer.Push out finished bundles for forklift removal and ensure tags are on finished packs of lumber.Strap packs/bundles of lumber using a strapping device.Maintain a clean and organized stacker area, free of trash and debris.Foster good working relations with all employees and management.Demonstrate a positive work attitude and excellent attendance and punctuality.Comply with all safety guidelines and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Capability to work on feet for extended periods, including bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, and walking.Strong work ethic and good communication skills.Familiarity with operating machinery in a production process.Mechanical aptitude.Reliable transportation.Pre-Employment Physical required.CompensationHourly rate based on experience.
