**Join Our Team as a 1st Shift Forklift Operator at HHP Inc.!**HHP Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and hardworking 1st Shift Forklift Operator to enhance our team in Henniker, New Hampshire. Our facility, strategically located just off Route 202 & 89, features a hardwood sawmill, pallet shop, and paper-quality chipping plant. This is your chance to join a team that prioritizes quality, safety, and teamwork.**What We Expect from You:**The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and accept full responsibility for their tasks as well as the success of their teammates.**Your Responsibilities Will Include:**- Operating forklifts proficiently with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience.- Loading and unloading trucks, including box and flatbed trailers.- Maintaining and organizing the loading dock efficiently.- Loading and unloading the heat treater while ensuring adherence to sterilization processes.- Organizing and overseeing the finished pallet staging area.- Conducting quality control to ensure the highest standard of pallets are produced.- Staging materials for the production team.- Setting up work and machine stations with cut stock material for various pallet manufacturing runs.- Keeping the yard organized and free from clutter.- Disposing of wood waste, including broken sticks, blocks, bands, and other debris as required.- Performing daily checks of the forklift, including lights and fluid levels.- Blowing out radiators weekly.- Keeping the machinery clean, including the glass.- Communicating any mechanical issues and service needs promptly to management and the truck garage.**Qualifications for Success:**- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without hesitation.- Capability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods, including bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and walking.- A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are essential.- Familiarity with operating machinery in a production environment is a must.- Mechanical aptitude is required.- Reliable transportation is non-negotiable.- A pre-employment physical is required.**Compensation:**Your compensation will be competitive and based on your experience.**Work Schedule:**1st Shift: Monday-Thursday from 6 AM to 4 PM & Friday from 6 AM to 3 PM.**Benefits You’ll Enjoy:**- 401(k) with company match- Comprehensive health insurance- Dental and vision insurance- Paid vacation and holidays after 90 daysIf you’re ready to take the next step in your career, send your resume to: humanresource@hhp-inc.com or call 603-428-3298.
