Your mission:
In this role, you’ll lead safe, efficient, and high-quality operations within the sawmill, ensure production and performance targets are met or exceeded. You will oversee daily activities, optimize operational processes, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
- Lead sawmill operations to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules
- Monitor yields, enforce quality standards, and conduct grade checks.
- Foster employee development through training, coaching, and cross-training.
- Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime.
- Report on production metrics and operational performance.
