The Hilton Garden Inn Full Service Front Desk Associate is the hotel’s primary guest contact, responsible for delivering exceptional service, managing reservations, and supporting daily operations.
Role Overview
The Front Desk Associate serves as the face of the hotel, greeting guests, handling check-in/check-out, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from arrival to departure. This is a full-time position, often including weekend shifts, and reports to the Front Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Provide warm, courteous, and professional service face-to-face and via phone, anticipating and meeting guest needs promptly.
- Check-in & Check-out: Facilitate arrivals and departures, process reservations, confirmations, cancellations, and special requests.
- Information & Concierge: Answer questions about hotel policies, amenities, and local attractions; offer travel and activity suggestions.
- Reservations & Sales: Coordinate individual and group reservations, assign rooms, and sell rooms to walk-in and phone guests.
- Operations Support: Maintain order and cleanliness of the front desk and lobby; master Hilton’s computer and reservation systems.
- Cashiering & Payments: Execute cashiering procedures, verify transactions, and post charges to guest accounts.
- Compliance & Security: Follow credit card procedures, ensure proper imprinting and signatures, and uphold hotel safety and security protocols.
- Collaboration: Work with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues and meet guest needs.
