Summary
As a Front Desk Agent at Comfort Suites Urbana-Champaign, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless check-in experience. This role is vital in upholding our commitment to outstanding guest services and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.
- Assist in managing front desk operations, including cash handling and billing processes.
- Promote hotel services and upsell rooms or packages when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with hotel management software or phone systems is preferred but not required.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse clientele, but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards is beneficial.
