Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in process
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, including modifications and cancellations
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, providing accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to high standards
- Assist guests with special requests, complaints, or issues using customer service problem-solving techniques to ensure satisfaction
- Conduct night audits and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately in the hotel management system
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and effectively during incidents or safety concerns
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts is highly preferred
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guest populations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle emergencies confidently
- Experience working with hospitality reservation systems and property management software is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to resolve customer service issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism
