Program Director

Title: Behavioral Program Director
Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Nursing (or Program Administrator)
Pay Range: $95k-$120k

You will lead with both heart and discipline. That means overseeing the Behavioral Health Program with compassion and clinical excellence, staying ahead of regulatory requirements, and creating a culture where staff feel supported and residents thrive. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE FACILITY

• THE FOUNDATION
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • No active probation or substantiated violations on any professional license or employment record.
• THE JOURNEY
  • Minimum 3 yearsof direct experience working with the mentally ill, preferably with severely mentally disordered patients.
  • Minimum 2 yearsof experience in program supervision and staff management.
  • Proven track record of developing and evaluating therapeutic programs that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with treatment planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
• THE CRAFT
  • Deep fluency in applicable state regulations (including Title 22, where applicable) and federal behavioral health requirements.
  • Ability to lead the planning, development, and evaluation of therapeutic programs that meet each resident's unique needs.
  • Strong skills in monitoring service quality and coordinating with other departments for effective program delivery.
  • Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) or other electronic medical record systems is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate Behavioral Team meetings and ensure accurate documentation of residents' progress.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Oversee and direct the execution of the Behavioral Health Program.
• Lead the planning, development, and evaluation of therapeutic programs that meet the needs of each resident.
• Ensure all programs are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure key performance indicators are met.
• Provide ongoing monitoring of service quality and coordinate with other departments for effective program delivery.
• Facilitate Behavioral Team meetings and supervise program staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation of residents' progress in the program.
• Support staff professional development and growth opportunities.
