The Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) is a critical leadership role, appointed directly by the Administrator, to shape the future of patient care and clinical operations. The DON will lead a dedicated team of clinical professionals and will be empowered to:
Salary Range: $150k-$250k per year
- Drive Clinical & Operational Excellence: Assess, refine, and implement best-in-class clinical programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and patient/family satisfaction.
- Lead and Inspire: Mentor, develop, and retain a strong nursing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Steward Quality and Compliance: Serve as the facility’s clinical authority, ensuring impeccable survey readiness and leading the charge on quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Forge Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary department heads to achieve financial and operational goals while advancing the facility's mission.

The Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking an accomplished nursing leader with a track record of success in a post-acute or long-term care setting. Your background likely includes:
- An active, unencumbered RN license in the State.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with at least 2 years as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Medicare/Medicaid regulations, state survey processes, and infection control protocols.
- Proven financial acumen with experience in managing departmental budgets, staffing, and labor costs.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build consensus.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
