Role Overview

The Manufacturing Supply Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of materials management and supply chain operations in support of Heven Aerotech's manufacturing activities. This role ensures that all raw materials, components, and parts are available on time, in the right quantity, and at the required quality standards to support uninterrupted production.

Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics, this position works closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering to align supply operations with build schedules, cost targets, and company objectives

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily material flow to production, ensuring all components are available to meet build requirements
• Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans aligned with production forecasts
• Identify, escalate, and resolve material, logistics, and scheduling constraints proactively
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production continuity
• Lead coordination between Procurement, Warehouse, and Production to achieve on-time delivery (OTD) goals
• Oversee supplier performance for delivery reliability, quality, and cost effectiveness
• Manage demand planning, expediting, and escalation processes for critical materials
• Partner with Procurement on vendor selection, negotiation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support supplier risk assessments, audits, and compliance monitoring
• Develop and track key supply chain performance metrics (OTD, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, etc.)
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve material availability and production flow
• Drive standardization and process optimization across Logistics and Manufacturing operations
• Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate supply chain visibility and traceability
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of supply coordinators, planners, and expeditors
• Serve as the primary liaison between Production and Procurement functions
• Align material flow strategies with operational and organizational priorities
• Support strategic scalability and resilience initiatives led by the Director of Logistics
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain, inventory management, or production planning
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Proven ability to lead material flow planning and supplier coordination in a production environment
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, onsite manufacturing environment
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries
• Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent process improvement experience
• Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace quality management systems
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with regular exposure to production floor conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout facilities for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs (team lift required for heavier items)
• Ability to operate safely in environments with moderate noise, temperature variation, and industrial activity
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced, operational setting
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as required to support production demands
