About the Role:
As a Certified Medical Technician (CMT) at HERMITAGE NURSING & REHAB, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
Collecting and processing lab specimens, processing and labeling blood samples, and performing basic laboratory tests under the supervision of a licensed medical professional
Assisting physicians and other healthcare practitioners with patients' care and treatment plans
Monitoring and reporting patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient information, test results, and treatments
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care
Collaborating with healthcare staff to provide comprehensive care to our residents
Requirements:
Certified Medical Technician (CMT) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
