Location: Greater Philadelphia
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary
As a Unit Manager (RN), you will oversee the nursing operations of your assigned unit, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional, high-quality care. You will lead, mentor, and support your nursing staff while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and facility policies. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a commitment to resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit to ensure quality care and adherence to regulations.
Provide direct nursing care and oversee the care given by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Monitor and assess resident conditions, ensuring that care plans are followed and updated as necessary.
Conduct rounds to evaluate resident care, address concerns, and ensure the highest quality of services.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for the nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations regarding resident care, infection control, and safety.
Participate in resident care meetings, quality assurance programs, and staff training initiatives.
Investigate and resolve resident or family concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and ensure compliance with all charting requirements.
Assist in recruitment, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active RN license in PA – in good standing.
Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or related healthcare setting.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control, and best nursing practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
