Position Purpose Summary:
The Inside Sales Associate supports branch sales operations by providing exceptional service to walk-in and phone-in customers. This role assists with product selection, order processing, and fulfillment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The position also helps maintain an organized and customer-friendly sales environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Greet and assist customers at the counter with product selection, pricing, and availability
- Answer incoming calls and provide accurate product and order information
- Process sales transactions and generate invoices using company systems
- Locate, pull, and stage products for customer orders using inventory tools and catalogs
- Load materials into customer vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and counter area
- Support inventory activities including stocking, organizing, and cycle counts
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Build strong customer relationships to support repeat business and customer satisfaction

Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- HVAC or related product knowledge preferred
Years of Experience:
- 1–3 years of customer service, sales, or warehouse experience preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret invoices, catalogs, and product numbers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
