Position Purpose Summary:
As the Branch Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Memphis, TN branch, including sales, operations, customer service, safety compliance and team management. You play a critical role in supporting the Company's vision, mission and strategy: driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency at Ed's Supply Company.
Education / Experience:
Certifications: None Required
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Years of Experience: 5 Years Preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication , negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of HVAC products, industry trends, and market dynamics
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to drive sales growth.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including maintenance of physical location, inventory management, order processing, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal, state and local laws pertaining to employment, safety, and DOT regulations.
- Implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Customer Service:
- Champion a customer-centric culture by providing exceptional service and support to clients.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster long-term relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals and support staff.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support team development.
- Financial Management:
- Manage branch budget and expenses to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies to optimize profitability and maximize return on investment.
