What You'll Do:
As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by:
- Supervising the housekeeping team to ensure high performance through effective selection, training, coaching, and evaluation.
- Managing detailed cleaning schedules for resident apartments, including floors, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, and trash removal, and inspecting resident refrigerators for expired food.
- Overseeing resident linen services, including removal, washing, drying, folding, and proper storage of linens, towels, and personal items.
- Ensuring the community's exceptional presentation by maintaining spotless and odor-free common areas, buildings, grounds, and apartments.
- Implementing operational processes, procedures, and best practices that meet company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Managing departmental functions, including supply inventory, budget, staffing, record-keeping, and maintaining the physical appearance of the community.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- 1 years of environmental services experience in a senior living or related industry.
- Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred).
- The ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups including colleagues, clients and various business contacts at various levels ranging from front-line employees to senior executives.
- The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions.
- Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates).
