What You’ll Do:
As a Cook, you’ll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by:
- Cooking fresh, high-quality meals including baking, roasting, and grilling, all meeting our high standards for flavor, presentation, and resident dietary needs.
- Assisting with managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies to minimize waste.
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and sanitary kitchen in line with all food safety guidelines.
- Keeping accurate records for inventory and food temperatures.
- Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 years of cooking experience, particularly in high-volume settings such as catering, banquets, buffets, or senior living.
- Ability to work early, mid, or early-evening shifts (no late nights!).
- A valid Food Handler's Card where required by state regulations.
- Strong communication skills, with expertise in reading recipes, labels, and adjusting serving sizes.
- Commitment to professional appearance and safety, including wearing a proper uniform, slip-resistant shoes, and gloves as required.
