What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Processor position at Hereford Insurance Company?
Description: No Fault Litigation Processor is assigned to the Arbitration, or In-coming Suit/Litigation Team to support the Litigation Adjusters in the performance of their responsibilities. Litigation Processor will adapt to new duties and responsibilities as the needs arise to provide efficient and evolving support for the needs of the department and the Adjusters.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the adjusters in the various functions of handling PIP Arbitration/Litigation. Maintain a pending of experience appropriate arbitration cases and/or summons and complaints (suits).
Other Duties: Index in-coming suits. Prepare out-going checks for mailing. Prepare cases for defense. Process settlement payments. Contact plaintiffs and obtain stipulations extending time to answer. Contact AAA and obtain Extensions of Time. Document the suit and/or arbitration folder with review of bills. Provide support as assigned by the Team Leader, or Supervisor.
Qualifications: Proficient in windows-based applications, proficient in medata repricing reviews. Evolving knowledge in No Fault Regulation 68 and imaged file organization.
Salary : $35,000 - $40,000
