Industrial Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our padlock manufacturing facility in Prospect, OH. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, enjoy understanding how things work, and possess a willingness to learn new skills. This role involves hands-on work with machinery, including troubleshooting, repairing, and reassembling equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Operate machining tools as required to support production and maintenance needs
- Assist with changeovers
- Disassemble, evaluate, and reassemble machinery and components
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical inclination and a curious, problem-solving mindset
- Electrical experience (a plus)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLC programming (a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools and measure with calipers and micrometers
- Ability to work within tight tolerances
- Previous forklift operation experience
