About the Company
We are a growing material handling dealership headquartered in Indiana, serving customers across Indiana and Michigan. We sell, rent, and service forklifts and storage solutions. We are looking for a General Manager who can sit at the executive table, own the operation, and help lead this business through its next chapter of growth. The sales side of the business is strong. What we need is a leader who can bring the operational and service side up to that same standard, build a culture of accountability, and position the company to scale.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Leading strategic growth planning alongside ownership and executing on those plans day to day
- Owning financial and operational performance across all business lines including service, parts, rental, and sales
- Bringing the service operations up to industry standard, including technician efficiency, absorption rates, and aftermarket revenue growth
- Building and managing relationships with OEM partners and key customers
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining talent across the organization
- Creating a culture where people are held accountable, coached to grow, and bought into the direction of the business
- Traveling between branches regularly to stay close to the team and the operation
What We Are Looking For
- Background in the material handling industry or equipment dealership space with a strong understanding of how aftermarket service and parts operations work
- Proven ability to own a P&L, identify weaknesses, and make the right adjustments
- Experience scaling an organization or leading a business through a growth phase
- A leader who earns respect through competence and consistency, not title
- Someone who can balance big picture strategic thinking with the discipline to execute on the details every single day
- Strong operational instincts with the ability to build systems, track KPIs, and hold people accountable without losing them
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $150,000 plus bonus
Vehicle: Company truck or monthly allowance plus gas card
Relocation: Support available for the right candidate

Salary : $175,000 - $220,000
