Inside Sales Representative (Hybrid) – Industrial Solutions

A leading provider of material handling and industrial solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support business growth and pipeline development. With a long-standing presence in the industry, the organization delivers comprehensive solutions within distribution centers and warehouses, including equipment, automation, safety systems, and storage technologies.

The company is focused on expanding its footprint by leveraging a well-established brand to grow its broader portfolio of industrial and automation solutions.


Location

  • Kansas City, MO
  • Hybrid schedule: 3–4 days in office

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within targeted accounts
  • Schedule qualified meetings for outside sales representatives
  • Support pipeline development through outbound calls, emails, and strategic outreach
  • Utilize prospecting and data tools to identify high-value opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with field sales to drive revenue growth
  • Attend customer meetings in the field when geographically feasible
  • Track activity and performance metrics related to meetings set and revenue influenced

Work Structure

  • Primarily in-office with a hybrid component
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in inside sales, SDR, or business development (B2B preferred)
  • Strong communication and prospecting skills
  • Highly motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Interest in industrial, logistics, automation, or technical solutions is a plus
  • Desire to grow into an outside/territory sales role
