Job Summary

This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, as well as patient comfort and understanding.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment areas for all clinical staff, including sterilizing instruments and ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
- Take dental radiographs as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with the entire dental team to ensure efficient operations within the clinic.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years direct dental assisting experience is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting and familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is required.
- CPR, BLS, and X-Ray certified.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike.
- Ability to follow directions and take feedback.
