Our client is a family-owned engineering and fabrication company that designs and builds custom fluid-delivery systems supporting naval propulsion and industrial power applications. They’re hiring an entry to mid-level engineer who’s excited about the marine industry and wants hands-on experience with next-generation naval programs.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and test fluid-delivery systems based on engineering principles and military requirements
- Create 3D models and 2D layouts in SolidWorks, including piping routes
- Review and develop technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures
- Support installation, testing, flushing, and commissioning of systems (10–20% travel)
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and technicians on buildouts and troubleshooting
- Conduct quality audits, weld/fabrication inspections, and maintain ASME documentation
- Contribute to procedures, service manuals, technical notes, and system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Background in mechanical, marine, or industrial systems
- SolidWorks proficiency and strong CAD fundamentals
- Understanding of fluid-delivery / fluid-control systems
- Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel (10–20%)
