Henhouse Café is looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant FOH Manager to join our team! We are a fast-paced, breakfast and lunch restaurant focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong team leadership.
The Assistant FOH Manager supports daily front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth shifts, and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support FOH staff during daily service
Ensure excellent guest experience and resolve customer concerns promptly
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Monitor staff performance, attendance, and appearance
Assist with scheduling and shift coverage
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Ensure accuracy in orders, service flow, and communication with BOH
Enforce company policies and procedures
Assist with training new team members
Monitor cash handling and POS accuracy
Qualifications
FOH experience in a breakfast focused environment preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Experience with POS systems (Toast experience a plus)
