This specialized role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional keen to handle the challenges of reconciliation within the dynamic environment of property management.
This is a Part-Time position that entails detailed management and oversight of our clients' financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions. Please note, this is not a remote job. Candidates will be expected to work onsite to effectively manage the financial operations associated with multiple property accounts.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible hours between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional weekends to meet monthly deadlines)
Compensation: $23–$26/hour (depending on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform weekly and monthly 3-way trust account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account balances.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and trust accounts.
- Review and finalize monthly owner statements and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Verify expense tracking and oversee vendor payments.
- Track unpaid bills and maintain liability detail reports.
- Update and maintain records in QuickBooks Online and related systems.
- Handle Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) reporting and entries.
- Support annual tax processes including 1099s and W-2s.
- Assist with maintaining compliance for new and existing clients.
- Set up financial systems for new properties/clients.
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures and documentation.
- Ensure deadlines are met by coordinating across teams.
- Help train and support a bookkeeping assistant.
- Collaborate with vendors, insurance providers, and internal teams.
- Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Experience or knowledge in bookkeeping, specifically in roles requiring meticulous 3-way reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail with a process-driven approach to handling financial tasks.
- Proficiency in using financial software like QuickBooks Online, VRPlatform, and Guesty.
- Experience in managing both accounts payable and receivable, coupled with general ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to interpret and generate comprehensive financial reports for management and compliance purposes.
- Excellent numerical skills and a passion for working with numbers to ensure precise financial handling.
- Strong communication skills, capable of managing relationships with vendors and guiding team members effectively.
- Understanding of payroll processes and tax filing requirements, including the management of 1099s and W2s.
- Aptitude for learning and adapting to new software and technologies used in financial management and reporting.
- Pass a background check and have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Fluent English communication skills.
