What You'll Do
In this role, you will play a key part in managing all phases of estate administration and probate matters, including:
- Preparing probate and estate administration documents from start to finish
- Handling Surrogate's Court e-filing with confidence and accuracy
- Assisting with the collection, marshaling, and distribution of estate assets
- Drafting receipts and releases
- Preparing federal and New York State estate tax returns
- Compiling informal estate and trust accountings
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in trusts & estates or estate administration
- Strong knowledge of New York Surrogate's Court procedures and e-filing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
