The Design Technology group is looking to hire a Business Process Analyst I to join their team in Lenexa, KS. The Business Process Analyst I is the initial level in the Business Process Analysis job family focused on digital workflow support and platform integration. This role is responsible for executing platform support, standards, and user enablement tasks. This role improves how the firm uses enterprise and design platforms by responding to Tier 2/3 support requests, maintaining templates and standards, and supporting adoption efforts through training and documentation. It serves as a launch point into deeper workflow enablement and cross-functional technology roles. In addition to owning individual responsibilities, this role actively contributes to broader technology integration projects - working alongside peers and senior team members to help deliver scalable, workflow-focused solutions as part of a collaborative, cross functional team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design technology, or a related field preferred with 2 - 4 years of typical total experience, or 5 - 7 years of experience without a degree in a relevant field.
- Proficient in core platforms (e.g., Revit, Bluebeam, ClickUp, Teams, Microsoft Power Suite) with a strong grasp of how they support technical or operational workflows. Awareness of scripting tools (e.g., Dynamo, Python, Power Automate) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical tools and apply them in a business context
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, Microsoft Power Platform, Bluebeam, ClickUp) are preferred.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Begins developing an understanding of how tools impact day-to-day workflows and where friction exists.
- Documents basic pain points and share observations with senior team members.
- Assists in creation of process documentation and visual references.
- Responds to Tier 2/3 user support requests for enterprise and design technology platforms.
- Maintains templates, configuration standards, and tool-specific documentation
- Assists with tool testing, upgrades, and user feedback collection.
- Partners with team members, end users, and support staff to understand business needs.
- Supports internal working groups and tool rollout activities.
- Participates in cross-functional feedback and working sessions as needed.
- Assists with testing new features, releases, or updated tools.
- Helps collect and summarize user feedback for internal review.
- Supports inventory and assist with basic maintenance of templates, scripts, and automations.
- Supports user onboarding and training efforts for new or updated tools.
- Helps develop training materials, visuals, and enablement content.
- Communicates the benefits of improved workflows or tools to users.
- Participates in team meetings and peer learning activities.
- Shares tips, findings, or helpful resources with others on the team.
- Receives coaching and direction from senior Applications Specialists.
