Business Analyst (with Technical & Data Analytics Expertise)
Location: De Soto, Kansas (ONSITE at the manufacturing facility)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
· Understand and analyze manufacturing, inspection, and automation workflows to identify operational improvement opportunities.
· Collect, validate, and analyze production and quality data to support issue resolution and performance enhancement.
· Monitor and coordinate operational testing, documenting and reporting outcomes to both U.S. and Japan-based stakeholders.
· Collaborate closely with data, engineering, and IT teams to maintain stable system operation and consistent data flow.
Document SOP adherence, system test results, and improvement actions; report findings to project leadership. Facilitate bilingual communication and documentation between cross-functional and multicultural teams
Required Skills and Experience
· 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production systems, or operational process support.
· Proven ability to analyze workflows, detect inefficiencies, and translate findings into actionable insights.
· Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other BI tools for data analytics and reporting.
· Basic understanding of production system architecture and automation (MES, SCADA, PLC concepts,etc.).
· bilingual communication skills (Japanese and English – verbal, written, and reporting).
· Excellent cross-team coordination and problem-solving skills within multicultural environments.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in data visualization, KPI tracking, or trend analysis for manufacturing performance.
· Familiarity with API, ETL, or cloud-based data integration concepts.
· Experience with system testing, troubleshooting, or process improvement in a productionEnvironment.
· Ability to act as a liaison between operational users and technical/development teams.
