This position will allow you to be challenged while working alongside a leadership team of mentors who are sure to leverage your skills & experiences while adding tools to your arsenal. You will report up to a Controller & CFO who are both EXCELLENT - Hemphill has partnered with these leaders for years, and it is a pleasure to continue building their team. This position will provide you with a mix of recurring monthly responsibilities, special projects (stretch assignments, process improvement initiatives), and financial reporting & analysis responsibilities that will make for a fresh and challenging position as part of an established yet growing business!

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Financial statement preparation, validating & reconciling the general ledger while also comparing actual financial results to forecast. You will analyze trends, add commentary, and will be given the opportunity to make operational suggestions as you begin to understand the “why” behind the numbers.
• Month-End Close: Take on a meaningful role within the month-end close process. You will collaborate closely with other Staff / Senior Accountants while teaming up with the Controller to produce sharp & timely financials.
• Enjoy working for a Controller & CFO who are technology-forward! We are searching for an individual who can lean on their prior experience to bring ideas to the table on how we can improve our month-end close process, tighten up reconciliation templates, and introduce efficiencies to our department.
• Track and perform analysis on fixed assets and leases company wide.
• Leadership Exposure: Work under a leadership team that is known for their intentionality. You will have the opportunity to sit in on leadership discussions while learning the ins and outs of business strategy, growth initiatives, risk management, and future business planning.
