Homecare Nurse Supervisor - Part Time

Location: Gadsden, AL (35901, 35903, 35904, 35906)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Homecare Nurse Supervisor to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will oversee nursing staff providing in-home care to patients in the Gadsden, AL area, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support homecare nursing staff to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor patient care and staff performance.
• Coordinate and facilitate nursing schedules and assignments.
• Provide clinical guidance and training to nursing staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to develop and update care plans.
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
• Address and resolve any patient or staff concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, preferably in homecare or community health settings.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of homecare regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Reliable transportation to travel within the specified Gadsden zip codes.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Some evening or weekend availability may be required based on patient and staff needs.
