Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Homecare Nurse Supervisor to join our team in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate home health services. This position offers flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and PRN availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support homecare nursing staff to ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate patient care plans and monitor patient progress in collaboration with healthcare providers and families.
• Conduct regular staff training, performance evaluations, and provide mentorship.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and nursing activities.
• Respond to patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in scheduling nursing visits and managing staff assignments.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal home health care regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN/ LPN license in the state of Alabama.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, preferably in home health or community nursing.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of home health care regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the service area.
