Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing assistance with daily activities and health management. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted support system, fostering meaningful connections while delivering essential care services tailored to each individual's unique needs.
Duties
SHC staff prepare meals and package them in the fridge or freezer for easily reheat on his own. He is able to independently reheat these meals and convenience meals and such that he purchases from the store. SHC staff are mindful of dietary needs related to health when preparing meals.
SHC worker comes to member's home, goes to get groceries, and then comes back to home. Brings all groceries in. SHC will also take Client to the bank as needed. Driving to grocery store/bank weekly.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and overall condition; report any concerns promptly
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration
- Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and household chores
- Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations and care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation, for client.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory impairments preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward diverse populations including seniors and individuals with disabilities

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
