Job Summary
Assist Electricians and Foremen by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials and/or tools and cleaning work area and equipment. Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Install conduits and pipes to electrical wires and cables, circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them in compliance with NEC standard.
Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
Work on-site at job locations
Assist the Foreman on each project
Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Install conduits and pipes to electrical wires and cables, circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them in compliance with NEC standards
Remain compliant with all Certification’s legally required to be an electrician
Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
Ability to stand on a ladder and on your feet for an extended period
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and report violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to Field Supervisor
Attend weekly Safety Meetings on-site every Monday and sign the attendance sheets
Developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
Ability to dig
Pipe bending
Good organizational skills and cleaning job sites at the end of each day’s shift
Willingness to work overtime when required
Qualifications/Educational and professional requirements (Including but not limited to)
Require a high school diploma Some previous education or work-related skill or knowledge is usually needed
Minimum of a few months to one (1) year of working with experienced employees
A recognized apprenticeship program REQUIRED
History of long-term employment with other companies
Skill development, honesty and dedication

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in electrical applications
