About the Position
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Territory Sales Manager, East Coast is responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships across a defined East Coast region. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding strategic accounts, and working closely with channel partners to deliver Helix’s precision motion solutions to customers where performance matters most.
This position combines strategic account ownership with hands-on sales execution. The Territory Sales Manager manages key opportunities from initial engagement through quote, order, and delivery, ensuring momentum and follow-through across the sales process. Success in this role requires strong relationship building, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to translate customer needs into clear internal priorities.
Based at Helix’s Beachwood headquarters, this role connects customer activity in the field with internal
teams across sales, engineering, and operations, helping ensure opportunities move forward with speed, clarity, and accountability.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Territory Ownership
- Own revenue growth and customer relationships across Helix’s East Coast territory.
- Drive new customer acquisition while expanding share within existing OEM and strategic accounts.
- Actively manage the sales pipeline to ensure opportunity momentum, timely follow-up, and strong conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and visibility into deal progression, risks, and priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for territory performance.
Customer Development & Field Engagement
- Travel ~25–50% across the East Coast for key customer visits, program reviews, and industry events.
- Represent Helix in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry forums.
- Build a strong understanding of customer buying drivers to inform territory strategy and opportunity prioritization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure customer commitments are clearly understood and delivered.
- Share voice-of-customer insights to inform internal priorities and process improvements.
- Contribute to initiatives that increase sales efficiency, responsiveness, and conversion effectiveness.

- East Coast revenue meets or exceeds growth targets, supported by a healthy, actively managed pipeline.
- Opportunities move through the funnel with speed and discipline, resulting in strong conversion rates.
- Key OEM and strategic accounts deepen engagement, driving repeat business and increased share of wallet.

Requirements:What You Bring
- Experience: 5 years in technical sales, territory management, or industrial B2B sales environments
- Industry Exposure: Experience selling technical or engineered products to OEMs, distributors, or manufacturing customers
- Account Ownership: Proven ability to grow accounts, develop new business, and manage complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Pipeline Discipline: Strong approach to managing pipeline activity, forecasting accurately, and maintaining opportunity momentum
- Customer Engagement: Clear, confident communicator who can navigate technical discussions, set expectations, and build long-term customer relationships
- Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality to move opportunities from quote through delivery
- Tools: Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office tools
