Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate processing of vendor payments while maintaining strong internal controls and positive vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently across multiple entities
- Review invoices for proper documentation, coding, and approvals prior to payment
- Perform 3-way matching and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment issues, identifying root causes when needed
- Maintain vendor records, including verification of tax documentation and payment details
- Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close activities
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Document procedures and contribute to process improvements and AP automation initiatives
- Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- 2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls
- Experience with 3-way PO matching strongly preferred
- Experience working in multiple ERP systems or with AP automation tools is a plus

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
