Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new grilled dishes or improvements to existing recipes based on culinary trends and guest feedback.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, portioning, and garnishing to enhance flavor profiles.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service efficiently during busy hours.
• Follow all food handling procedures meticulously to ensure safety standards are met at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques related to grilling.
• Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of special dietary needs.
• Familiarity with menu planning, food safety protocols, and food handling regulations.
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
