Job Summary And Scope

The Senior Project Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of projects and programs of moderate to high complexity. This role partners with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical counterparts to deliver value and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. The Senior Project Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, validated, and incorporated into solution design.

In addition to requirements gathering, this position contributes to research and development of new concepts, identifies opportunities for process improvements and governance efficiencies, and ensures business readiness and adoption of delivered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full project lifecycle, from requirements elicitation through testing and implementation.
• Partner with business and technical teams to define, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with solution design.
• Conduct business process reviews to identify improvements, efficiencies, and governance opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to validate project plans and verify proposed solutions for feasibility and alignment with business needs.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), End-to-End testing, and Business Unit Readiness to ensure solutions meet requirements and drive adoption.
• Research and develop new concepts, ideas, and approaches to advance project and organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance and recommendations based on thorough analysis to support enterprise-wide projects and initiatives.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of eight (8) years of combined experience in project analysis, coordination, or management.
• At least five (5) years of direct experience creating business requirements and performing quality analysis.
• Proven track record supporting complex, end-to-end projects, preferably within a financial institution.
• Strong business and technical analysis skills with ability to independently prepare recommendations and perform in-depth analysis.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and occasionally extend work hours to complete tasks.
  
  
  

Licenses/Certifications

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) preferred.
