Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary:

Height Street Skilled Care, a skilled nursing facility in Bakersfield, is seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver who is also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This dual-role position is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments while providing basic patient care and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled trips
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Provide CNA-level care and support during transport and within the facility as needed
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure routine safety checks are completed
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident needs and schedules
• Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California (required)
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs
