Pay Rate: $78 - $80 per hour (DOE)

Height Street Skilled Care, a skilled nursing facility in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our team. Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
• Participate in care planning meetings and required in-service trainings
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
