Nursery Office Team/Cashier *Apply in Person

Heidrich’s Colorado Tree Farm Nursery is a family owned and operated Nursery. We cater both to retail customers as well as to some of the best landscapers in our local market. We are a fast-growing nursery that focuses on selling the highest quality trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, and perennials while providing exceptional customer service, all while helping our team flourish. Responsibilities

• Master and become proficient with our POS System (NCR Counterpoint) to check customers out, process orders and invoices, complete warranty claims and returns, and look up customer history when needed.
• Use our inhouse Google Sheets/Docs to schedule planting and delivery dates.
• Answer customer questions pertaining to items we sell in the Nursery, how our warranty works, how the planting/delivery service works, and other issues that may arise throughout the work day.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Answer incoming phone calls as well as checking and returning voicemails.
• Assist your team in receiving, pricing, and stocking hardgoods inventory in the office.
• Keep the office clean and orderly.
• Using two way radios to call out for loading/unloading and to communicate with other Team working at the nursery.
• You will report to your Team Supervisor and Team Lead.

Requirements:

• Minimum three years customer service experience.
• Basic Math Skills
• Handle payments (cash, checks, credit cards) for incoming transactions.
• Print and/or email receipts to customers.
• Proficient with Google Sheets/Docs
• Can operate Microsoft PowerPoint to create signage throughout the nursery. This also includes printing, cutting, and laminating them.
• Good communication skills in person, over the phone, on two way radios, and via email.
• Be on your feet for your complete shift, not including breaks.
• Available to work Saturdays. We are closed all but two Sundays during the year (Christmas Tree Season).
• Ability to work with and solve issues that may arise for customers. This could be something like a warranty for a tree that died.
• Tree, Shrub, and Perennial Knowledge is not required, but is preferred. We will also offer training during the year to further this portion of your knowledge base.

Schedule: We are looking for both a full year/full time team member who would be hear year round as well as several season team members who can work from March-early December. We can't wait to meet you!

Pay range is $16-$19 per hour based on experience and performance. Bonuses are available for those that qualify.
