What You'll Be Doing
- Learn to safely operate mobile equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, and water trucks under supervision
- Support daily quarry production by transporting raw materials efficiently
- Conduct pre‑operation inspections and report equipment conditions
- Follow safety procedures, traffic patterns, and operational guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow procedures consistently
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn mobile equipment operation
- Dependability, teamwork, and a proactive work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing site conditions
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
- Capability to climb ladders, steps, and uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or tools up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Frequent bending, standing, walking, and use of hands and feet to operate controls
- Visual, hearing, and depth‑perception ability required to operate equipment safely
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
- Continued compliance with company safety, training, and regulatory requirements
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
