Position: Quality AssurancePay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 /hourly Location: Lodi, CASchedule: Tuesday - Saturday | 3:00pm - 11:30pmJob Description:This position is responsible for the inspection activities of production in Molding and Secondary Operations. This position performs first part inspection, receiving, in-process, and final inspection while maintaining quality department documentation to ensure that customer and company quality standards are met.Duties and Responsibilities:Inspect production in Molding and Secondary Operations and has the authority to accept/reject received goods, production start-ups, in-process production, assembly, rework, repair operations, and completed productionInspect first runs of production in Molding and Secondary operations, and communicate results to set-up personnel to aid them in achieving compliance with requirementsComplete periodic in-process inspections of production in Molding and Secondary OperationsDimensionally and visually inspect piece parts and assemblies for adherence to customer requirements using inspection tools, gauging, and retained sample partsComplete and maintain documentation related to quality inspectionsHelp communicate quality standards and be available to answer quality related questions to production personnelPerform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisorExperience/Skills:Minimum one year manufacturing and/or equivalent experienceAbility to read instruction sheets independentlyDemonstrated attention to detail in qualityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work between multiple departmentsStrong math and basic computer skillsPrevious plastic injection molding and/or quality control experience a plusFamiliarity with quality inspection tools such as gauge pins, calipers, etc. a plusAbility to read technical data dealing with inspection, procedures, etc. a plusExperience working in GMP compliance environment a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to grasp and feel product using fine, repetitive, finger manipulation when performing inspection procedures.Ability to perform necessary repetitive motions for up to 8 hoursCapable of visually and manually identifying differences and defects in products being inspected, including differentiating colors and tonesFrequent lifting of 20-30 pounds to shoulder height and carrying up to 20 yardsRepetitive bending, pulling, pushing, stretching, stooping, reaching and twistingAbility to stand and walk (up to 8 hours) on cement and linoleumCompany DescriptionAfter 44 years of service and multiple locations throughout the Central Valley, Hedy Holmes Staffing Services has established itself as an innovative staffing agency that puts a premium on matching top talent with top employers.
