Job Description:
- Directs groundskeeping crew to assure all grounds and outside surface areas are properly groomed and maintained
- Creates, plans and implements landscaping designs as per seasonal appropriateness
- Assists with design and performs installation of new hardscape, softscape and other projects as requested
- Conducts scheduled rounds of facility grounds and property to assess preventive maintenance needs, aesthetics, and potential for compromised safety
- Performs groundskeeping duties and personal gardening services as requested and as necessary, including maintenance and improvement of recreational facilities throughout the campus
- Supervises snow and ice removal including allocating necessary manpower hours to assure safe passageways as well as maintaining sufficient inventory of snow removal supplies on site
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Associates Degree in Landscape Management preferred
- Education in horticulture required
- Experience in installation of hardscape, softscape and design
- Experience in maintenance and repairs of grounds equipment and facility vehicles
- Supervisory experience
- NJ Commercial Pesticide Applicator license required or must be obtained within 6 months
- Experience in commercial landscape management, equipment operation and snow removal operations
Full Time - Hours M-F 7am-3:30pm and on-call for snow removal
Salary : $30 - $32
