Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsibilities but not limited to:
- Assist residents with performing basic tasks such as eating, dressing and toileting
- Taking and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Monitoring patients for any changes in condition and reporting them to nurses
- Performing simple procedures like applying bandages or dressings, under the direction of a nurse.
- Cleaning patient rooms and common areas
- Stocking supplies
- Ensuring patient safety by monitoring for potential hazards and reporting them
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) skills and requirements:
- CNA license required or at least 16 hours of classroom time in a CNA program (CNA must be obtained within 120 days)
- Able to communicate clearly in English using written and verbal methods
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong bedside manner
- Ability to work as a valuable part of a team
Salary : $20 - $23
