Position Overview:
A growing and reputable construction company in the Omaha area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or residential construction projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Oversee job site progress, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure project alignment
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
- Track project costs and provide regular updates to leadership
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience:
- Background in commercial construction, residential builds, or remodels
- Experience working directly with subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
- Familiarity with budgeting, bidding, and cost tracking
