supervision. It is primarily responsible for developing and managing contracts and determining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies.
Essential Functions:
Bachelor’s degree/preferably in a Business or Human Services related field. Two to three years previous office or client services experience preferred; detailed oriented and able to operate in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines.

Job Summary:

Essential Functions:
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Heartland for Children internal and external customers
- Knowledgeable of child welfare and case management
- Knowledgeable of mental health, utilization management and DJJ processes
- Knowledgeable of Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments (CBHA), mental health referrals and mental health services
- Receive and process CBHA referrals that are submitted by our partners within required timeframes.
- Periodically review CBHAs for quality and provide feedback to providers when necessary.
- Provide connections and support for mental health, substance and behavioral health needs of children and adults
- Attend DJJ lockout staffings, coordinate meetings and recommend services for kids to help divert placement in licensed care
- Participate in multi-disciplinary staffings to include but not limited to Crossover Youth Staffings, Youth at Risk Staffings, Local Review Team Staffings and other staffings as requested.
- Identify trends, good practice and barriers related to these processes and make written recommendations for improvement and/or training opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
