Job Summary:
This is a professional position responsible for the training, licensing and relicensing quality foster family homes in Circuit 10.
Essential Functions:
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with HFC customers
- Carry caseload of licensed foster homes
- Provide ongoing support, resource and referral information to foster families to provide placement stability
- Conduct initial home studies and secure signatures as required within the specified time frames
- Ensure all screening requirements are completed in a timely manner
- Complete home visits as required for each home
- Complete licensing files that meet licensing standards
- Enter family information into licensing database
- Enter home visit notes in FSFN timely
- Monitor the ongoing development of child resource records and Medication Administration Record
- Complete closure summaries and other documentation as required within the specified time frames
- Monitor completion of training requirements for Foster Families
- Conduct and/or train Passport to Parenting pre-service training and orientation presentations
- Review licensing and relicensing packets for accuracy and compliance with licensing regulations
- Complete peer reviews on licensing files
- Work in conjunction with CPI team when Investigations are received involving Foster Homes
- Respond to homes when licensing concerns are raised from foster care referrals or other system partners
- Participate in staffings involving foster homes, service providers, institutional staffings as needed
- Participate in presentation calls and assisting placements in working with new foster parents regarding their initial placement
- Perform special projects as assigned
